Poorly watered by swamps. Elevation from 300 ft. to 400 ft. above sea-level.

Covered with fern and manuka, with some rough danthonia feed. Soil of very poor clay; well watered. Improvements consist of about 170 chains of boundary-fencing, four or seven wires, in fair order.
