“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JAMES ALEXANDER GENTLES, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator thereof.”

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, for the construction of permanent drainage and sewerage works within the borough, and for the payment of the Council’s proportion of the cost of works beyond the borough which are required to provide an outfall, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-fourths in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE.
——
Municipal Buildings’ Loan Redemption Loan, 1930, £4,870.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand eight hundred and seventy pounds (£4,870), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming a loan of £5,600, being part of a loan of £16,000 raised on 1st June, 1920, and falling due on 1st June, 1930, or 1st June, 1935, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of six-thousand-four-hundred-and-seventy-one six-hundred-and-twenty-five-thousandths (6471/625000ths) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the Municipal Buildings Loan Special-rating Area, as defined in the Schedule hereto, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE REFERRED TO ABOVE.
All that area in the City of Christchurch, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western boundary of Rural Section 1048 (May’s Road); thence south-easterly along that boundary to and along the north-eastern side of Rutland Street to and across McFadden’s Road, along the southern side of McFadden’s Road to and across Innes Road, and along the south-eastern side of that road to Rural Section 345A; thence along the south-western boundaries of Rural Sections 345A and 2795 to Shirley Road; thence along the south-western side of Shirley Road to its junction with Hill’s Road; thence easterly along the middle of Shirley Road to Marshland Road, and along the middle of North Parade to Bank’s Avenue; thence along the middle of Bank’s Avenue and Dudley Creek Road to a point opposite the confluence of Dudley Creek and the River Avon; thence across that river and along its right bank to the western side of Kerr’s Road, and along the western side of that road to Buckley’s Road; thence south-westerly along the centre of Buckley’s Road to Linwood Avenue; thence across Linwood Avenue to Aldwin’s Road; thence along the centre of Aldwin’s Road to Ferry Road; thence in a north-westerly direction along Ferry Road to the centre of Ensor’s Road; thence south-westerly along Ensor’s Road to the Christchurch-Lyttelton Railway Reserve; thence south-easterly along that reserve to the left bank of the Heathcote River, and up the left bank of that river to a point opposite the watercourse from Hill’s Road, near Heathcote Street; thence across the Heathcote River and along the said watercourse to Hill’s Road; thence along the northern side of Hill’s Road to and along the eastern side of St. Martin’s Road to a point opposite the northern side of Burnbrae Street; thence to and along the northern side of that street to Tennyson Street Bridge; thence across to the Heathcote River and along its left bank to Colombo Street; thence in a northerly direction along the centre of Colombo Street to the intersection of Strickland Street; thence in a north-westerly direction along the centre of Strickland Street to South Crescent Road; thence along the centre of South Crescent Road to Jerrold Street and westerly and north-westerly along the centre of that street to Lincoln Road; thence along the middle of Lincoln Road to the middle of Moorhouse Avenue; westerly along the middle of that avenue, and northerly along the middle of Dean’s Avenue (West Town Belt) to the Avon River to a point in line with the north-eastern side of Rossall Street; thence to and along the north-eastern side of Rossall Street to the road forming part of the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 133; along the north-western side of that road to the Wairarapa Stream and along the left bank of that stream to Norman’s Road; thence in a north-easterly direction along the centre of Norman’s Road to Papanui Road; thence along Papanui Road in a north-westerly direction to May’s Road; thence north-easterly along May’s Road to the point of commencement.

Destructor and Sanitary Works Loan Redemption Loan, 1930, £7,200.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seven thousand two hundred pounds (£7,200), authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming portion of the loan of £18,500, maturing 30th June, 1930, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-thousand-and-seventy-one seventy-eight-thousand-one-hundred-and-twenty-fifths (1071/78125ths) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the Destructor and Sanitary Works Loan Special-rating Area, as defined in the Schedule hereto, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-eastern boundary of Rural 112 and the north-eastern side of Langdon’s Road, and proceeding thence south-easterly along the said north-eastern side of Langdon’s Road to the north-western side of Main North Road, north-easterly along that side of the road to the centre of the Papanui Drain; thence south-easterly along the centre of that drain through Rural Sections 308 and 1048 to the south-western boundary of said Rural Section 1048, south-easterly along that boundary to and along the north-eastern side of Rutland Street to and across McFadden’s Road, along the southern side of McFadden’s Road to and across Innes Road, and along the south-eastern side of that road to Rural Section 345A; thence along the south-western boundaries of Rural Sections 345A and 2795 to Shirley Road; thence along the south-western side of Shirley Road to its junction with Hill’s Road; thence easterly along the middle of Shirley Road to Marshland Road; and along the middle of North Parade to Bank’s Avenue; thence along the middle of Bank’s Avenue and Dudley Creek Road to a point opposite the confluence of Dudley Creek and the
