Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through the Urewera Reserve, Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts, to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Urewera Consolidation Commissioners appointed under the Urewera Lands Act, 1921–22, made on the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, duly laid off as road-lines in pursuance of section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and subsection four of section ten of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1923:
And whereas the said Commissioners are of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authorities of the districts concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and subsection four of section ten of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1923, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
APPROXIMATE area of the pieces of land proclaimed as roads: 1,660 acres.
Portion of the Urewera Reserve, situated in the Waimana, Urewera, Ruatahuna, Ahikereru, and Tuatawhata Survey Districts; coloured red.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.
Approximate area of the pieces of land proclaimed as roads: 270 acres.
Portion of the Urewera Reserve, situated in the Ruatahuna, Waikaremoana, Waimana, and Urewera Survey Districts; coloured blue.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/736, deposited in the Head office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2366 (sheets 1 to 8 inclusive, 8A, 11, 11A, 12, 12A, 13, 13A, and 14), and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of July, 1930.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for post and telegraph purposes; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 roods.
Being Section 7, Township of Palmerston.
Situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District (Borough of Palmerston North). (S.O. R.P. 276.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78934, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of July, 1930.
