WAIRIOA COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928, and in the matter of the Counties Act, 1920.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairoa County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-entitled Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the provision of land for the purposes of a road through Sections 8 and 6, Block X, Waiau Survey District, and Section 7, Block V, Taramarama Survey District, and for that purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is likewise given that a plan of the said land is deposited at the office of the said Council in Queen Street in the Borough of Wairoa, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected are called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections they may have to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Council at its office aforesaid.
Date of first publication: 27th day of January, 1930.
SCHEDULE.
All those pieces of land, containing in the aggregate five acres three roods and thirty-one perches (5 acres 3 roods 31 perches) more or less, being part of Sections 8 and 6, Block X, Waiau Survey District, and part Section 7, Block V, Taramarama Survey District, and portion of a river-bed situate in the County of Wairoa: As the same are delineated on plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor of the Land District of Gisborne under Number 1342 (brown), and therein coloured pink, yellow, and sepia.
