    THE following notice, received from the Chairman, Raglan
    County Council, is published in accordance with the
    provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

    RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.
    PURSUANT to the provisions of section 13 of the Local Bodies'
    Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that the following is
    the result of a poll of the ratepayers of the Waikorea-Waimai
    No. 2 Special-rating Area of the County of Raglan, taken on
    the 17th day of January, 1930, on the proposal to borrow
    the sum of f800 for the purpose of forming and metalling the
    Waikorea to Pukemiro Road, and forming and metalling parts
    of the Waikorea Road in the Waikorea-Waimai No. 2 Special-
    rating Area of the County of Raglan.

    Total number of valid votes recorded . . 21
    As the total number of valid votes recorded in favour of
    the proposal are more than three-fifths of the total number
    of valid votes recorded, I hereby declare the proposal to be
    carried.

    Hutt Borough Council, is published in accordance with
    the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

    (1) Water Reticulation Loan, £10,000.
    (2) Water Headworks Loan, £5,800.
    (3) Fire Brigade Loan, £3,500.
    (4) Municipal Offices, Shops, and Workshops Site Loan,
    £2,000.
    IN pursuance of section 13 (1) of the Local Bodies’ Loans
    Act, 1926, notice is hereby given of the number of votes
    recorded for and against the above loan proposals at the poll
    taken on the 18th day of December, 1929.

    THE following notice, received from the Mayor, Gore
    Borough Council, is published in accordance with the
    provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.

    BOROUGH OF GORE.
    PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926,
    I hereby give public notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of
    the Borough of Gore, taken on the 15th day of January, 1930,
    on the proposal of the Gore Borough Council to borrow the
    sum of £2,000 for tar-sealing from 20 ft. to 30 ft. wide
    the balance of the main highways situated within the
    borough, and engineering and loan expenses, the number of
    votes recorded for the proposal was 237; the number of
    votes recorded against the proposal was 44; informal, 3.
    I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
    Dated this 16th day of January, 1930.
