NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the District Lands and Survey Office, State Fire Buildings, Wellington, on Monday, the 28th July, 1930, at 11 o’clock a.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and amendments.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
TOWN LAND.
Kaitieke County.—Town of Kakahi.
For sale for Cash only.
Section 13, Block III: Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £7 10s.
Weighted with the sum of £2 10s., for improvements comprising 5 chains of boundary-fencing. This sum is payable in cash. A level section situated in the Township of Kakahi.

A level section situated in the Township of Kakahi, with frontage to Pitotahi Street.

Section 8, Block X: Area, 3 acres 2 roods 20 perches. Upset price, £25.
Situated in the Township of Rangataua, with frontage to Piwari Street. Half a mile from Rangataua Railway-station, by metalled road. All level land, felled and in grass. Soil of light quality, but greater portion of section is low-lying and swampy.

Section 22: Area, 1 rood 3 perches. Upset price, £110. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £3 5s.
Weighted with the sum of £3, valuation for improvements consisting of fencing. This sum is payable in cash.
Section 28: Area, 37·9 perches. Upset price, £100. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £2 18s. 6d.
Weighted with the sum of £2 5s., for improvements consisting of fencing. This sum is payable in cash.
Section 29: Area, 35·6 perches. Upset price, £90. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £2 12s.
Weighted with the sum of £1 17s. 6d., for improvements consisting of fencing. This sum is payable in cash.
These sections are situated in Loughnan Settlement, in the Town of Palmerston North, with frontage to Napier Road.
Terms of Sale.
Cash: One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, with certificate-of-title fee (£1) and valuation for improvements, within thirty days thereafter.
Deferred Payments: The deposit of 5 per cent. of the purchase-price together with £1 1s. (license fee) and valuation for improvements to be paid on the fall of the hammer.
The balance of the purchase-money, with interest thereon at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum, to be paid by instalments extending over the period of 34½ years.
The licensee shall have the right at any time during the currency of his license to pay off either the whole of the purchase-money or any half-yearly instalment or instalments thereof then remaining unpaid.
Upon receipt of the final instalment the certificate of title in respect of the land purchased shall issue upon payment of the prescribed certificate-of-title fee.
If the purchaser fails to make any of the prescribed payments by due date the amount already paid shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale shall be null and void.
The lands are described for the general information of intending bidders, who are recommended, nevertheless, to make a personal inspection, as the Department is not responsible for the absolute accuracy of any description.

NOTICE is hereby given that KARAKA KERAPA, otherwise CLARK RATANA, of Auckland, Farmer, was this day adjudged bankrupt; and I hereby summon a meeting of creditors to be held at the Courthouse, Pukekohe, on Tuesday, the 24th day of June, 1930, at 10.30 o’clock a.m.
