Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Subdivisions of Kinohaku West E Block, Auckland Land District, to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, duly laid off as road-lines in pursuance of section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and section thirteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1922:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1927:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, and section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1927:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1927, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/887, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2354, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1930.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fourteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1740, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2357, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of May, 1930.

Settlement Lands in Otago Land District proclaimed to be Crown Lands.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands acquired under that Act to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and which were acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, shall cease to be settlement lands and become ordinary Crown lands for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which were acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, shall be Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 639 acres 2 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block XI, and Section 1, Block XIV, Leaning Rock Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Run 249, 10425 links; towards the east by Run 249, 5340·4 links, the crossing of a public road 100 links wide, and again by Run 249, 784·6 links; towards the south by Run 249, 10425 links; and towards the west by Run 249, 2385 links, the crossing of a public road 100 links wide, and again by Run 249, 3752 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, and excepting from the above described parcel of land an intersecting public road, 100 links wide, a deduction for which has been made from the area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/9/49, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 11 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Pre-emptive Right “B” on Run 249, Block XIII, Leaning Rock Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Run 249, 1516·6 links; towards the south-east by said Run 249, 758·3 links; towards the south-west by a road line, 1516·6 links; and towards the north-west by aforesaid Run 249, 758·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/9/49, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of April, 1930.
