Cook Islands: Warrant proclaiming Road under Section 607 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915.

WHEREAS by section 607 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, it is provided that the Minister for the Cook Islands may by Warrant proclaim any Crown, European, or Native land as a road: Now, therefore, I, Sir Apirana Turupa Ngata, Minister for the Cook Islands, do hereby, in pursuance of the authority so conferred upon me, proclaim as a road the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

  1. ALL that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 6 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court “Paetaa,” Section 162 (one hundred and sixty-two).

  2. All that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 8 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court “Vaitu,” Section No. 175 (one hundred and seventy-five).

  3. All that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 18 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court “Vaitu,” Section No. 176 (one hundred and seventy-six).

The above-described parcels of lands are delineated and edged green, red, and yellow, respectively, in the plan numbered 28, signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands at Rarotonga.

Given under my hand and the Seal of the Cook Islands, this 16th day of April, 1930.

  1. ALL that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 2 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court “Rautara,” Section 11 (eleven).

  2. All that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 3 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court “Teruakina,” Section 68 (sixty-eight).

  3. All that parcel of land situate in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 7 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of the land named by the Native Land Court “Arurutuarangi,” Section 83 (eighty-three).

The above-described parcels of lands are delineated and edged red, green, and yellow, respectively, in the plan numbered 27, signed by the Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands at Rarotonga.

Given under my hand and the Seal of the Cook Islands, this 16th day of April, 1930.
