Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Auckland
of a Width of less than 66ft., but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of
January, 1930.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in
this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby authorize the Auckland City Council to permit the
laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than
forty feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street, being an extension of Baker Street,
in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 20-1 perches, more or less,
being portion of Allotments 14, 15, and 16, Section 39, City
of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 76819, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.

Amendment to Regulations under the Plumbers Registration
Act, 1912.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of
January, 1930.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section sixteen of the Plumbers
Registration Act, 1912 (hereinafter referred to as "the said
Act"), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
amend the regulations made under the said Act on the
eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and four-
teen, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-first day of
May then instant at page 2106, in manner hereinafter set
forth; and doth hereby declare that the regulations hereby
made shall form part of and be read with the said regulations
of the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
fourteen, and shall come into force on the first day of February,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
REGULATIONS.
- Subclauses (1) and (2) of clause 5 of the said regulations
are hereby revoked and the following substituted therefor:—
(l) (a) The fee for examination or re-examination in both
parts taken as a whole shall be £1.
(b) The fee for examination or re-examination in either
the written examination or the practical test taken separately
shall, except as provided in the next succeeding paragraph
of this subclause, be £1.
(c) The fee for examination (for the first time only and not
for re-examination) in the written examination taken
separately of an apprentice, if the date fixed for such examina-
tion is at least 5 years and not more than 5½ years after the
date of commencement of his apprenticeship, shall be 10s.
(2) (a) The fee for registration under section 8 of the said
Act shall in all cases be 5s.
(b) The issue of a certificate in the form in the Second
Schedule hereto shall not be deemed to entitle any person
to registration without payment of the fee prescribed by the
last preceding paragraph of this subclause. - Subclause (3) of clause 5 of the said regulations is hereby
amended by deleting the amount shown as "2s. 6d." and
substituting therefor the amount "5s."

Additions to Regulations under the Plumbers Registration Act,
1912.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of
January, 1930.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on him by section sixteen of the Plumbers
Registration Act, 1912 (hereinafter referred to as "the said
Act"), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare that in the districts or localities set out in the Schedule
hereto, after six months from the date of the coming into
force of this regulation, all sanitary plumbing shall be done
by a person registered under the said Act; and doth further
hereby declare that the regulation hereby made shall form part
of and be read with the regulations made under the said Act
on the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
fourteen, and gazetted on the twenty-first day of May then
instant, and shall come into force on the first day of February,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

Masterton County: Within one mile of any portion of
the Borough of Masterton. -
Pahiatua County: Within one mile of the boundary
of the Borough of Pahiatua. -

of the Borough of Waipawa. (2) Within the Townships of
Ongaonga, Tikokino, and Takapau. -
Waipukurau County: Within one mile of the boundary
of the Borough of Waipukurau. -
Wairarapa South County: Within one mile of the
boundaries of the Boroughs of Carterton and Greytown. -
Woodville County: Within one mile of the boundary
of the Borough of Woodville. -
Auckland Hospital Board: Lot 41 of Section 3, consisting
of 12 acres 0 roods 16 perches, surrounded by the City
of Auckland but under the jurisdiction of no local authority.
