IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the
matter of Olympia Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Christchurch.
NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with section 223
of the Companies Act, 1908, that the following resolution was duly passed and confirmed as a special resolution at extraordinary general meetings of members of the company held on the 12th day of December, 1929, and the 7th day of January, 1930, respectively:
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
Thomas Newburgh be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

BAY OF PLENTY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE PASSED AT A MEETING OF THE BOARD HELD ON THE 8TH JANUARY, 1930.
THE Bay of Plenty Electric-power Board, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, doth hereby resolve:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of £20,000, authorized by a poll of ratepayers taken on the 5th day of December, 1929, to be raised for the purposes following:
Constructing any works for the extension of electric supply and reticulation within the Power Board's district in respect of which works guarantees as described in clause 12 (1) of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1927, have first been given in favour of the Power Board for payments, amounting in each of not less than five consecutive years from the completion of such works to at least seventeen and one-half (17½) per cent. of the estimated capital costs of such works,
the said Bay of Plenty Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Plenty Electric-power District, as defined in the First Schedule to the Proclamation proclaiming the said district appearing in the New Zealand Gazette, 1925, at pages 2453 and 2454, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 20th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SURNAME.
I, WILLIAM MURRAY, heretofore called and known by
the name of William Monaghan, hereby give public notice that on the 18th day of December, 1929, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned my former name "William Monaghan," and then assumed and adopted, and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of "William Murray" instead of the name of "William Monaghan": And I give further notice that by a deed poll dated the 18th day of December, 1929, duly executed and enrolled in the Auckland Registry of the Supreme Court of New Zealand on the 11th day of January, 1930, I formerly and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said name of "William Monaghan," and declared that I had assumed and adopted, and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of "William Murray" instead of the name of "William Monaghan," and so as to be at all times thereafter known or described by the name of "William Murray" exclusively.

OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION INCREASING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £18,425, authorized to be raised by the Ohura County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reforming, culverting, and metalling the Waietwhenua and Hapurua Roads, the said Council, pursuant to section 23 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, hereby increases to eightpence (8d.) in the pound sterling the special rate of threepence halfpenny (3½d.) in the pound sterling made and levied by resolution passed by the said Council on the 18th day August, 1915, and published on page 3400 of the New Zealand Gazette, 1915, on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waietwhenua Special-rating District in the County of Ohura, such rate of three-pence halfpenny in the pound sterling being insufficient to provide for payment of interest, sinking fund, and other
