Hat—For winter wear: Navy blue with school badge described in paragraph (1) below on front.
Hat Bands—
For general wear—A navy blue band 2 in. wide with a gold horizontal stripe 3/2 in. wide running ⅛ in. from each of the upper and lower edges of the band.
For summer wear: A white band 2 in. wide with a gold horizontal stripe 3/2 in. wide running ⅛ in. from each of the upper and lower edges of the band, and a navy blue horizontal stripe ⅛ in. wide running between the two gold stripes.
Badges—
(1) To be worn on hats or clothing. A lune-shaped device with axis vertical bearing a dove with out-stretched wings, three spots at the apex, and the words “Columba College” on the band bounding the lune—the whole being worked in gold on a navy blue or on a white ground.
(2) A lune-shaped device with axis vertical bearing a dove with out-stretched wings, three spots at the apex, and the motto “Gratia Et Disciplina Bona” on the band bounding the lune, the whole being executed in silver, silver gilt, or gold, or embellished with dark blue enamel, as may be desired.
