IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above company held on the 13th day of February, 1930, the following resolution was passed :—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, be reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up same accordingly, and that the company be wound up accordingly, and that LEONARD WESLEY SWAN, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for that purpose.”

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the body corporate called the Waikato County Council intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public road, and that a plan of the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the office of the Waikato County Council, Hamilton, and may be inspected there (without a fee) during office hours. And further notice is hereby given that unless within forty (40) days from the twenty-second day of February, 1930, being the date of the first publication of this notice, any written objection to the taking of such land is sent to the Waikato County Council the said Council shall forthwith proceed to take the said land for such public work.
THE SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing 1 acre 1 rood 19·16 perches, more or less, being portions of Allotments 297 and 298 of the Parish of Whangamarino, in the County of Waikato.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wanganui County Council to execute a certain public work—to wit, a road in the County of Wanganui—and for the purposes of such public work to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the said lands so required to be taken, with the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands, is deposited at the office of the Wanganui County Council situate in Campbell Place in the City of Wanganui, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice (being the 6th day of March, 1930) to the Wanganui County Council at its office in Campbell Place aforesaid.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE NATIONAL PORTLAND CEMENT COMPANY, LIMITED, a company duly incorporated, and having its registered office in the City of Wellington in New Zealand.
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court of New Zealand was, on the 31st day of October, 1929, presented to the Honourable the Chief Justice of New Zealand by James Costello, of Cape Foulwind, in New Zealand, Hotel-keeper, a contributory of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the Supreme Court on Friday, the 21st day of March, 1930, at the Supreme Court House, Wellington; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
