by a loan to be known as “Public Trust Office Renewal Loan, 1930,” for the purpose of paying off mortgages and balances of purchase-moneys falling due in September next:
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said sum of forty-seven thousand pounds for a term of ten years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of six pounds per centum per annum, subject to the condition that the said local authority shall repay not less than ten thousand pounds within the first five years, and at least a further ten thousand pounds in the last five years of the currency of the loan.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £8,000 by the Board of Governors of Canterbury College.

His Excellency the Administrator of the Government in Council.
WHEREAS the Board of Governors of Canterbury College (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) is desirous of raising the sum of eight thousand pounds by a loan to be known as “Public Trust Office Loan, 1930,” for the purpose of erecting additional accommodation at Helen Conon Hall:
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said sum of eight thousand pounds for a term of ten years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of six pounds per centum per annum, subject to the condition that the said local authority shall repay not less than one thousand five hundred pounds within the first five years, and at least a further one thousand five hundred pounds in the last five years of the currency of the loan.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan by the Buller Hospital Board.

WHEREAS the Buller Hospital Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) is desirous of raising by way of bank overdraft the sum of four hundred and fifty pounds for the purpose of purchasing one quarter-acre section
with ten-roomed dwelling and other buildings thereon, being Section 17, Russell Street, Westport:
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan by way of bank overdraft up to the amount of four hundred and fifty pounds for a term of two years at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding current bank overdraft rates, subject to the condition that the local authority shall repay from revenue not less than one-half of the amount in the financial year ending thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and the balance in the financial year ending the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

His Excellency the Administrator of the Government in Council.
WHEREAS the Geraldine Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) proposes to borrow, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the Main Highways Amendment Act, 1926, the sum of three hundred and forty-six pounds by a loan to be known as “Main Highways Loan, 1930,” for the purpose of meeting its share of the cost of tar-sealing and bitumen work carried out on portion of the Christchurch–Dunedin Main Highway through the Geraldine Borough.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the sum of three hundred and forty-six pounds, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, upon terms of making the said sum, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a period of three years.
