The Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1929.
SPECIAL LAND-TAX PAYABLE.
BY Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency
the Governor-General in Council on the 4th day of
November, 1929, under the authority of the above Act, it
was determined that the duty by way of special land-tax
leviable under the said Act should be paid in one sum on
Friday, the 28th day of February, 1930, at the office of the
Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington;
and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give
notice that the said duty will be payable accordingly.
Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before
21st March, 1930. The liability to pay is not suspended by
any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the
prescribed date, otherwise the additional percentage accrues;
any overpayment will be adjusted by refund. The demands
will be posted from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes
on or about 21st February, 1930. Demands must be presented with all payments, and taxpayers who expect a demand
and do not receive one should notify me of the fact.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant
Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, GEORGE HUME SEDDON, Assistant Registrar of
Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it
has been made to appear to me that the Gisborne Taxi Owner
Association (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on operations,
the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of
section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
Dated at Gisborne, this 6th day of February, 1930.

resolution of the Canterbury Land Board, the said land has
thereby reverted to the Crown, under the provisions of the
Land Act, 1924, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act,
1915.

Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments, and the
Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908, that written tenders are

District Maori Land Board, Rotorua, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on
Monday, 31st March, 1930, for the lease of the lands described
in the First Schedule hereto, on the terms and conditions
set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
