Nothing in any license to take or kill red-deer stags and hinds shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill red-deer stags or hinds on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain, or on any land excepted from the operation of the notification declaring an open season for the district.

Any person committing a breach of any of these conditions is liable, on conviction, to a fine of £20.

All those areas comprised within the Westland Acclimatization District known as the Kokatahi and Arahura Districts.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area comprised in the Westland Acclimatization District known as the Haast, Wills, and Landsborough Valleys, and the Okuru Block, South Westland.

, of , having this day paid the sum of £2, is hereby authorized to take or kill red-deer stags and hinds within that part of the Westland Acclimatization District known as the Kokatahi and Arahura Districts, from the 1st day of March, 1930, to the 30th day of April, 1930 (both days inclusive), subject to the provisions of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and all regulations and notifications affecting red-deer stags and hinds made thereunder, and in force within the said district.
This license does not authorize the holder thereof to take or kill red-deer stags or hinds on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain, or on any land excepted from the operation of the notification declaring an open season for the district.

Waihi Drainage District.—Notice of Intention to make and levy Rates.
Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 12th December, 1929.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, and its amendments, to make and levy a rate to meet maintenance costs for the period from the 1st April, 1929, to the 31st March, 1930, on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act.
The amount of such rate shall be payable in one sum on the 30th December, 1929.
The valuation-roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer’s Office, 5 Law Court Buildings, High Street, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the office of Mr. H. W. Earp, Clerk, Kaituna River Board, Te Puke, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Road of less Width than 66 ft.
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Minister of Lands, it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Springlands Extension No. 7, affecting part of Section 7, Omaka, in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that the road shown Nicoll Street therein should be of the width of 66 ft.:
Now, therefore, I, George William Forbes, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such road of a width of 40 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any buildings at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such roads.
Given under my hand, this 3rd day of December, 1929.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Road of less Width than 66 ft.

Now, therefore, I, George William Forbes, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of such road of a width of not less than 33 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.
Given under my hand, this 5th day of December, 1929.
