National-endowment Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale
or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in
the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the area of Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart
and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to
discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner pro-
vided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL-ENDOWMENT
LAND.
SECTION 24, Block XI, Toka Toka Survey District: Area,
82 acres 3 roods 26 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of
December, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in

the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said
Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 8, Block XII, Kaitieke Survey District: Area,
132 acres 1 rood, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under
the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December,
1929.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in
Tiger Hill Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 20 acres 2 roods.
Passing through Runs 244r and 244k, situated in Block XV,
Tiger Hill Survey District.
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 23/402, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, under No. 2339, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of
December, 1929.
