SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Waitomo County.—Te Kuiti Township.

These sections, which comprise principally level land, are situated within one mile of Te Kuiti Post-office and railway-station, and are most suitable for residential or business purposes.

IMPROVEMENTS.

(a) Loadings for improvements on the following sections are to be paid for separately, in cash :—

Section 15, Block XI : Garage, £10.
„ 25, „ XV : Dwelling, £250.
„ 21, „ XVI : Shed, £5.
„ 12, „ XVII : Shed, £10.
„ 6, „ XVIII : Dwelling, £250.
„ 3, „ XXVI : Whare, £80.

(b) Loadings for improvements on the following sections are to be paid for separately, in cash ; or, alternatively, the amount may be left on instalment mortgage to the State Advances Superintendent :—

Section 17, Block XI : Dwelling, washhouse, storeroom, and cowshed, £700. Payable in cash, or to be secured by instalment mortgage for thirty years at 6 per cent.

Lot 3 of Section 3, Block XXVII : Dwelling, £250. Payable in cash, to be secured by instalment mortgage for twenty years, at 6 per cent.

Section 6, Block XXVII : Dwelling, £100. Payable in cash, or to be secured by instalment mortgage for twenty years, at 6 per cent.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

1. Cash : One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, with Crown-grant fee (£1), to be paid within thirty days thereafter.

2. Deferred Payments : 5 per cent. of the purchase-money and license-fee (£1 1s.) to be paid on the fall of the hammer; the balance by equal half-yearly instalments extending over thirty-four and one-half years, bearing interest at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum on the unpaid purchase-money; but with the right to pay off at any time the whole or part of the outstanding amount.

Upon receipt of the final instalment a certificate of title in respect of the land purchased shall issue upon payment of the prescribed Crown-grant fee.

In either case, if the purchaser fails to make any of the prescribed payments by due date, the amount already paid shall be forfeited and the contract for sale of the land shall be null and void.

Titles will be subject to Part XIII of the Land Act, 1924.

The lands are described for the general information of intending bidders, who are recommended, nevertheless, to make a personal inspection, as the Department is not responsible for the absolute accuracy of any description.

STATE FOREST SERVICE NOTICE.

Milling-timber for Sale by Public Tender.

State Forest Service,
Palmerston North, 26th November, 1929.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders for the purchase of the undermentioned milling-timber will close at the office of the State Forest Service, Palmerston North, at 4 o’clock p.m., on Friday, 20th December, 1929.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.—TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that milling-timber on those areas, containing approximately 410 acres, situated in Section 14 and Sub. 1 of Section 9, and part Railway Reserve, Block II, Pouatu Survey District (Provisional State Forest No. 91), about seven miles from Tahora Railway-station.

The total estimated quantity in cubic feet is 299,703, or in board feet 2,073,800; made up as follows :—

Upset price, £2,664.

Ground rent, £20 10s. per annum.

Time for removal of timber : Three years.

Terms of Payment.

A marked cheque for one-seventh of the price tendered, together with half-year’s ground-rent and £1 1s. (license fee), must accompany the tender, and the balance be paid by six equal quarterly instalments, the first of which shall be paid six months after the date of sale.

In addition, the successful tenderer shall continue to pay such ground rent half-yearly in advance during the currency of the license.

Further blocks of tributary timber in the Provisional State Forest mentioned will be selected at appropriate times and offered for sale as occasion warrants.
