THE following resolutions, passed by the Legislative Council and by the House of Representatives, are published in accordance with section 362 (3) of the Land Act, 1924.

EXTRACT FROM THE JOURNALS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL, THURSDAY, THE 17TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1929.

Resolved: “That the report of the Lands Committee on Paper 127, relative to the proposed reservation of certain areas in the North Auckland, Nelson, and Westland Districts as endowments for primary education, be agreed to.”—On motion of the Hon. Mr. Moore.

Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register.—Notice under the Mining Act, 1926.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of the provisions of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, that, unless sufficient cause to the contrary be shown to the Minister within three months from the date hereof, the mining privileges specified in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.
