(3) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, County of Cheviot, containing by admeasurement 9,387 acres 0 roods 32 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks XI, XII, and XV, Hawksworth Survey District, and Block III, Cheviot Survey District, and comprising Lot 4 (D.P. 5374), Lot 5 (D.P. 5371), Lot 6, (D.P. 5372), Lots 1/35 and 37/51, Conway Flat; and Lots 1/23, Block I; Lots 1/20, Block VI; Lots 1/18, Block III; Lots 1/22, Block IV; Lots.1/13, Block V; Lots 1/10, Block VI; Lots 1/9, Block VII; Conway Village Settlement; as more particularly shown on deposit plans 5371, 5372, 5374, and Hawksworth Nos.1 and 2, and appearing in valuation roll 4/7/15, 17, 18, 19/27, 30, 45/49.
As the said Outer Area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75546 (sheets 1 and 2), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.

Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the Waikokopu–Gisborne Section of the Gisborne to Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a further portion of the Waikokopu–Gisborne Section of the Gisborne to Napier Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the northern boundary of Paritu 2A Block (Block XVI, Nuhaka North Survey District), marked 31 m. 42·25 ch. (which point coincides with the point of termination of the middle-line defined in Gazette No. 31, of 2nd day of May, 1929, and shown on plan P.W.D. 75229), and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 6 m. 47·5 ch., and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz: Subdivision 6 (D.P. 1026), Paritu Block, Takararoa No. 1 Block; Subdivision 7, Paritu Block, Block XVI, Nuhaka North Survey District; part Lot 1, Subdivision 5 (D.P. 2313), and Lot 1, Subdivision 6 (D.P. 1328), Paritu Block, Blocks XVI and XII, Nuhaka North Survey District; part Lot 1, Subdivision 5 (D.P. 2313), Lot 2, Subdivision 5 (D.P. 2314), and Lot 1, Subdivision 4 (D.P. 1739), Paritu Block, Block IX, Paritu Survey District; Subdivision 4 (D.P. 785), Paritu Block, Blocks IX and V, Paritu Survey District, and Whareongaonga C 9, C 8, and C 6 Blocks, Block V, Paritu Survey District, and terminating at a point in the aforesaid Whareongaonga C 6 Block (which point coincides with the termination of the middle-line defined in Gazette No. 46 of 20th day of June, 1929, and shown on plan P.W.D. 75046); including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams; and watercourses: all in the Gisborne Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76808, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street-widening purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Petone as from the date hereinafter mentioned, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2·29 perches.
Being portion of Lot 2 on D.P. 6815, being part Section 5, Hutt District.
