the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the road-line (described in the Schedule hereto) in Albatross and Kawhia North Survey Districts, laid off by the Waikato-Maniapoto District Maori Land Board.
SCHEDULE.
ROAD-LINE PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the road-line proclaimed as a road : 21 acres. Being portion of Parawai Native Township.
Situated in Block XVI, Albatross Survey District, and Blocks IX and XIII, Kawhia North Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 14752, red.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76403, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September, 1929.

Proclaiming Native Land to be vested in His Majesty under Section 368 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-eight of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), it is provided, inter alia, that the Crown may purchase any Native land in pursuance of a resolution of the assembled owners passed and confirmed in accordance with Part XVIII of the said Act, and on the resolution being adopted by the Native Land Purchase Board it shall become a contract of purchase as between the Crown and all persons who are the owners of the land; and the Governor-General may, by Proclamation, at any time after the contract of purchase has been so made, declare that the land so purchased is vested in His Majesty the King, and it shall vest accordingly and shall become Crown land:
And whereas a resolution was passed by a meeting of assembled owners, and duly confirmed by the Aotea District Maori Land Board, that the land set out in the Schedule hereto be sold to the Crown:
And whereas the Native Land Purchase Board has adopted such resolution:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and sixty-eight of the said Act, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land set out in the Schedule hereto is vested in His Majesty the King.

MATARIKORIKO No. 4B Block, Waitara Survey District: Approximate area, 46 acres 2 roods 1·5 perches.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
ORIMUPIKO Block, 1892 Act Leases Grant 3924, Sale No. 4, comprising Section 18, Block VIII, Opunake Survey District, containing 307 acres.

Amending the Constitution of a Special Board created for the Purpose of controlling the Gates of the Kawarau Falls Dam.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of September, 1929.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and ninety of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the appointment made under his hand on the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, as appears in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth day of the same month, of Frederick Selwyn Dyson, Esquire, as member of a special Board for the purpose of determining when the gates of the dam at Kawarau Falls, Lake Wakatipu, shall be opened and closed; and doth hereby appoint Thomas Murdy Ball, Esquire, as member of the said Board.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Edwin Alexander McDonald,
Charles John McIntosh,
Ernest Frederick Sanders,
Harold Edgar Stevens, and
Roderick Tohill
to be the Dunstan Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at half-past eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Courthouse, Alexandra, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
