Altering Boundaries of Auckland and Suburban Drainage District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board has presented a memorial requesting that the area described in such memorial be declared to form part of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage District (hereinafter referred to as “the said district”):

And whereas the Governor-General is satisfied that the inclusion of such area in the said district will prove beneficial to the inhabitants and the owners of property therein:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in that behalf by section ninety-five of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be included in and form part of the said district.


SCHEDULE.

AREA TO BE INCLUDED IN AUCKLAND AND SUBURBAN DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the One Tree Hill Road District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the existing boundary of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage District at the most southerly point of Lot 20 on plan Number 16452, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland; on the north-east by the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 17A, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, to its intersection with the north-western boundary of portion Allotment 7, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, shown on plan No. 3286, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland; thence on the north-west by the said north-western boundary of said portion Allotment 7, on the north-east by the Great South Road to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of aforesaid Allotment 17A; thence on the south-east and the south-west by the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of said Allotment 17A to the intersection of the latter with the existing boundary of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage District; thence generally on the north-west by the said existing boundary of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage District to the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September, 1929.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Southland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the nineteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of October, then instant, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND COUNTY.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

New River Hundred.—Monte Cristo Settlement.

SECTION 4s: Area, 117 acres 1 rood 30 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of September, 1929.
