E RRATUM.—In Gazette No. 59, of the 29th August, 1929,
page 2174, “Crown Land set apart for Disposal by
way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers under Special
Tenures in the Gisborne Land District,” in Schedule, for
“320 acres” read “327 acres.”

Additional Land at Marama taken for the Purpose of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway (Auckland-Westfield Deviation),
and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, con-
venience, and enjoyment of the Auckland-Westfield
Deviation of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further
land at Marama, in addition to land previously acquired
for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for
road-diversion in connection therewith:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public
Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in
anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on plan marked L.O. 337,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Welling-
ton, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of
August, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the area of Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart
and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to
discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner pro-
vided in the said Act,
