THIRD SCHEDULE.
EXAMINATIONS TO BE RECOGNIZED BY THE BOARD.
(a) Degree of Bachelor of Music in the University of New Zealand.
(b) Degree of Doctor of Music in the University of New Zealand.
(c) A Certificate of Proficiency granted by the University of Zealand in the subjects required for the Degree of Bachelor of Music.
(d) A Certificate of Proficiency granted by the University of New Zealand in the subjects required for the Degree of Doctor of Music.
(e) Degree in Music granted by any British Chartered University or by any British or foreign University, provided that such degree would entitle the holder to admission ad eundem gradum to the Degree of Bachelor or Doctor of Music in the University of New Zealand.
(f) Licentiateship of the Royal Academy of Music, London.
(g) Associateship of the Royal Academy of Music, London.
(h) Associateship of the Royal College of Music, London.
(i) Licentiateship of the Royal Manchester College of Music.
(j) Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists, London.
(k) Associateship of the Royal College of Organists, London.
(l) Licentiateship of the Associated Board of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, London.
(m) Licentiateship of Trinity College, London.
(n) Fellowship of Trinity College, London.
(o) A Certificate of Registration in Music under the Teachers’ Registration Council of Great Britain.

Regulations under the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of August, 1929.

Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations made under the said Act on the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the Gazette on the thirteenth day of December of the same year, at page 3491, by revoking Regulation seven of the said regulations and substituting the following regulations in lieu thereof :—

“7. In the case of an intended appointment of a part-time medical officer or an honorary medical officer it shall not be necessary to comply with the provisions of Regulations 2 to 5 (inclusive) hereof.

“8. In any other case in which the Minister thinks compliance with the foregoing regulations or any of them to be unnecessary, the Minister may, by writing under his hand addressed to a Board, exempt such Board from compliance either wholly or in part with the requirements of these regulations.”

Special Institution established under Section 24 of the Mental Defectives Amendment Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of August, 1929.

Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Mental Defectives Amendment Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order that the buildings contained on the land stated on Schedule below are declared to be available exclusively for the reception and treatment of such mentally-defective persons as are not of unsound mind or mentally infirm.

RURAL Sections 3696, 3697, 4103, 4200, 4550, 4887, Block XII, Rolleston Survey District, Canterbury.

Vesting Reserves in the Hurunui Rabbit Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of August, 1929.

Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart for sites for buildings of the Hurunui Rabbit Board : And whereas it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the said Board :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the ninth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Hurunui Rabbit Board, in trust, for sites for buildings of the said Board.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 28 perches, and being part Reserve Number 286, situated in Block III, Waitohi Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north-east by other part of Reserve Number 286, 1607 and 614 links respectively; towards the south-east by Reserve Number 2005, 1607·2 links; and again towards the south-west by a public road, 621 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/453, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 0 roods 22 perches, and being Reserve Number 4012, Block IV, Cheviot Survey District.
