Notice fixing the Date on which the Gisborne Borough Tramways Order No. 3, dated the 21st Day of December, 1928, shall come into Force.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by clause 5 of the Gisborne Borough Tramways Order No. 3, dated the 21st day of December, 1928, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 1, of the 10th day of January, 1929, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Minister of Public Works, being satisfied that on the date hereinafter mentioned an efficient and comprehensive motor-omnibus service will be available substantially to take the place of the tramway service authorized to be discontinued by the said order, do hereby publicly notify and declare that the said order shall come into force on the 26th day of July, 1929.

Notice to Mariners No. 37 of 1929.

NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—NORTH-WEST COAST.—KAHURANGI POINT.

Temporary Light to be installed.

Previous notice: Wellington Notice No. 30 of 1929 (hereby cancelled).

Position: Lat. 40° 46′ S., long. 172° 13′ E. (approx.).

Date of intended installation: On or about 31st July, 1929.

Details: Kahurangi Point light, which was destroyed by earthquake on 17th June last, will be temporarily replaced by a flashing light showing one flash every 8 seconds, thus: Flash, ½ second; eclipse, 7½ seconds. Visibility, 10 miles (approx.).

Remarks: The height of the light, and the red sector over Kahurangi Shoal, will be unaltered.

Caution: The arc of visibility of the temporary light may be found to be less than that of the destroyed light, and further information regarding this will be issued when the temporary light has been installed.

NOTICE is hereby given that the matters mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written will be heard by the Native Land Court sitting at Tokomaru Bay on the 20th day of August, 1929, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Court will allow.

The Court will adjourn to Tolaga Bay on conclusion of the business at Tokomaru Bay.

Hat Band: Width 2 in., with alternate diagonal stripes of navy blue and old gold each ½ in. wide; the monogram in old gold to be worn on front of band.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant Registrar dissolving a Society.

I, L. G. TUCK, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that The Dunedin North and Leith Amenities Society (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
