Land taken for Street Purposes and in connection with Street-widening at the Corner of Pipitea Street and Mulgrave Street, in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken (subject to an agreement to lease dated the 21st day of September, 1920, made between Walter Francis, of Wellington, Settler, and William Alexander, of the same place, Grocer, and expiring on or about the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty) for street purposes, that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken (subject to the aforementioned agreement to lease) in connection with street-widening, and that the said parcels of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for street purposes: 3·19 perches.

Being portion of Section 539; coloured red. (Town of Wellington R.D.) (City of Wellington.) (S.O. 2437.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken in connection with street-widening: 6·74 perches.

Being portion of Section 539; coloured blue. (Town of Wellington R.D.) (City of Wellington.) (S.O. 2437.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75758, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of July, 1929.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in Block IV, Mahurangi Survey District, Rodney County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres.

Being portion of Allotment 6, Parish of Matakana.

Situated in Block IV, Mahurangi Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25111.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75384, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of July, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Howard Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
