In the matter of THE TRADERS’ FINANCE CORPORATION, LIMITED, AND REDUCED; and in the matter of the Companies Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 17th day of May, 1929, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £300,000 to £268,750, and the minute (approved by the Court) showing with respect to the capital of the company (as altered) the several particulars required by the above statutes, were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 21st day of May, 1929; and further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—

The capital of the Traders’ Finance Corporation, Limited, is henceforth £268,750, divided into 50,000 preference shares of one pound (£1) each, and 250,000 ordinary shares of seventeen shillings and sixpence (17s. 6d.) each, as set out more particularly in the following table:—

The preference shares confer the right to a fixed preferential cumulative dividend of £7 per centum per annum on the capital for the time being paid up or deemed to be or credited as paid up thereon, and shall rank both as regards dividends and capital to the extent of the amount paid up in respect of such shares in priority to ordinary shares, provided that the preferential shareholders shall not be entitled to participate further in profits or assets. Such reduction is without prejudice to the company’s rights to sue for and recover all arrears of calls or instalments of capital now outstanding or due in respect of the said shares or any of them.

In the matter of BROWN BROS. WOOL COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 3rd day of July, 1929, to send their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims and the names and addresses of their solicitors, if any, to the undersigned FRANK ARTHUR WEBB, of Invercargill, Accountant, the Liquidator of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, are, by their solicitors, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above company has passed the following extraordinary resolution in terms of section 168, subsection (6), of the Companies Act, 1908:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that FRED TEMPEST EYRE, of Auckland, and RAYMOND STANLEY HOLM BISS, of Auckland, Accountants, be appointed joint Liquidators of the company.”

I, STANLEY LIVINGSTONE WILSON, M.B., Ch.B., N.Z., 1929, now residing in Dunedin, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 16th June next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Dunedin.
