MANGAPU DRAINAGE BOARD.

SPECIAL RESOLUTION MADE ON THE 16TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Mangapu Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,750, authorized to be raised by the Mangapu Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of cleaning and straightening streams in the drainage district, the said Mangapu Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5½d. in the pound in Class A, 3½d. in the pound in class B, and 1½d. in the pound in Class C upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of the Mangapu Drainage District of all rateable property in the several classified areas, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
