Revoking a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of a Native School in Block II, Takapau Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 1, of the ninth day of the following month, taking land for the purposes of a Native School in Block II, Takapau Survey District, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was taken.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion this 20th day of April, 1929.

Warden under the Mining Act, 1926, appointed.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS by section nine of the Mining Act, 1926, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council, appoint fit persons to be Wardens, who shall hold office during the Governor-Generalโ€™s pleasure: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by the said section nine of the Mining Act, 1926, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Harold Woodward, Esquire,

to be a Warden to hold and exercise the duties of such office under and subject to the provisions of the said Act during pleasure, on and from the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.
