Sites for Dwellings for Employees of Government Railways
Department.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Government Railways Act, 1926, and of every other power and
authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 3 roods 5 l perches.
Portion of Waimapihi Block, Block V, Paekakariki Survey
District, Hutt County. (S.O. 2456).

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 178, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
April, 1929.

Land in the Nelson Land District proclaimed as ceasing to
be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the
Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the
Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the
disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or
on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the

WELLINGTON, THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 1929.

Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such
land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation,
cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the
Schedule hereto, being land heretofore held under pastoral
license, has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said
land should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section
three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from
and after the twentieth day of February, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-nine, the land described in the Schedule
hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land
under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight
of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment
land.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.-NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.
SECTION 16, Block XII, Mawheraiti Survey District: Area,
327 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of April,
1929.
