Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the Dargaville—North Auckland Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf; I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the Dargaville—North Auckland Main Trunk Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby further declare that from a point in part Kaihu 2D Block, on D.P. 4269, marked 16 miles 40 chains on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto, to the terminating point of the middle-line, this Proclamation shall affect only the land within a distance of one chain on each side of the middle-line.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the north-western boundary of portion of Allotment 38, D.P. 11442, being portion of Kaihu No. 2B, Block IX, Maungaru Survey District, marked 14 miles 61·60 chains (which point coincides with the point marked 14 miles 48 chains, being the termination of the middle-line shown on plan P.W.D. 73565, and defined in Gazette No. 81 of 25th October, 1928), and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction for a distance of about 2 miles 46·40 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.: Portion Lot 38, D.P. 11442, being portion Kaihu No. 2B Block; portion Lot 38 on D.P. 7811, being portion Kaihu No. 2B Block; Lots 47 and 43, D. P. 7811, being portion Kaihu No. 2B Block, Block IX, Maungaru Survey District; Lots 44 and 46 on D.P. 7811, being portion Kaihu No. 2B Block, Blocks IX and XIII, Maungaru Survey District; portion of land on D.P. 4269, being portion Kaihu No. 2D Block; Lots 391, 392, and 393, being portion of Kaihu 2D Block; Lots 427, 428, 404, D.P. 859, being portion of Kaihu No. 2D Block; Lot 481 of subdivision of Kaihu No. 2D Block, No. 3509D on D.P. 973; part Lot 480 of subdivision of Kaihu No. 2D Block, No. 3509D on D.P. 958; portion of Tunatahi Block on D.P. 12501, Block XIII, Maungaru Survey District, and terminating at a point marked 17 miles 28 chains on the northern boundary of the Dargaville Railway Station yard, adjoining Gladstone Street, in the Borough of Dargaville; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: All in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74796, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Land taken for River Diversion and Protection Purposes in Block III, Christchurch Survey District, Eyre County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for river diversion and protection purposes, and shall vest in the Waimakariri River Trust, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a quarry, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otamatea, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 1 rood. Portion of Allotment S.W. 63, Matakoe Parish.
Situated in Block XIII, Matakoe Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25011.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74704, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road and Road closed in Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, Coromandel County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 67, of the sixth day of the same month, proclaiming land as a road and road closed in Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
