IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the roads in Manganui Survey District, described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the roads closed: 56 acres.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 1 to 9, 12, 19, and 21, and Township Reserve.

Situated in Block VIII, Manganui Survey District. (S.O. 2425.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73886, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of March, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 0·31 perches.

Being portion of Lot 34, D.P. 1087, being part Section 29.

(Approximately 45 miles to 45 miles 39 chains.)
