PETONE AND LOWER HUTT GAS-LIGHTING BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas-lighting Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £40,000, authorized to be raised by the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas-Lighting Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reticulation, extensions, and alterations to the gas-works undertaking, the said the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas-Lighting Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 247/512ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Board’s rating district, being the Boroughs of Petone and Lower Hutt, and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 20th day of July during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

It is hereby certified that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas-Lighting Board held on the 14th day of December, 1928.

The Common Seal of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas-Lighting Board was hereto affixed at the offices of and pursuant to a resolution of the Board in the presence of—
