HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve, under section 43, Defence Act, 1909, that the Railway Defence Rifle Club, Christchurch, and the Sydenham Defence Rifle Club, Christchurch, be amalgamated, and designated “The Sydenham Defence Rifle Club,” with headquarters at Christchurch. Dated 13th February, 1929.

IT is hereby notified for general information that, under the Summer Time Act, 1928, summer time, which commenced at 2 o’clock in the morning of Sunday, the 14th October, 1928, ends at 2 o’clock, New Zealand standard time, in the morning of Sunday, the 17th day of March, 1929.
The time will therefore be put back thirty minutes as from 2 a.m., New Zealand standard time, on Sunday, the 17th day of March, 1929.
