ERRATUM.—In the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 3rd day of May, 1920, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 44, page 1376, of the 5th day of the same month, taking land for the purposes of a road in Block I, Whakatane Survey District, for the description of the area of 1 acre 2 roods 37 perches read “Section 28B, Lot 6B” in lieu of “Section 28B, Lot 6A.”

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1689, set apart by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be a provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District containing 1,800 acres, more or less, being all that portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve 1689 intercepted between the eastern and southern boundaries thereof and the left bank of the Haast River, situated in Block I, Haast Pass Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/98/45, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of February, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve 81, set apart by Proclamation dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the eighth day of that month as amended by Proclamation dated the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and gazetted on the thirty-first day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be a provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 170 acres 0 roods 20 perches, more or less, being part Provisional State Forest 81: Bounded generally towards the north-west by part Provisional State Forest 81 and a public road, 370·6, 369·7, 475·0, 1302·5, 2634·1, 1164·5 and 274·4 links; towards the north-east generally by a public road, 465·4, 407·2, 563·2, 262·9, 3945·3, 701·8, and 296·3 links; towards the south by a public road and Sections 7, 8, 9, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, 4854·1 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/92/44, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of February, 1929.
