In the matter of THE WAITARA SHIPPING COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above company will be held at my office, Egmont Street, New Plymouth, on Friday, the 15th day of March, 1929, at 2.30 o’clock p.m.

Business: To receive Liquidator’s account of the winding-up of the company and disposition of the assets of the company.

PRIVATE BILL.

In the matter of a Private Bill intended to be brought into the General Assembly of New Zealand to be intituled “The Associated Churches of Christ Church Property Bill, 1929,” being a Bill—(a) to vest in a Board of Trustees known as “The Church Extension and Property Trust Board of Associated Churches of Christ in New Zealand” the Church properties described in the First and Second Schedules to the Bill respectively, and to provide a simple form of procedure whereby any of the Associated Churches of Christ in New Zealand whose properties are not yet vested in the said Board may vest them therein upon the trusts set out in the Bill; (b) to rescind existing trusts in respect of properties of any of the said churches now or hereafter vested in the said Board; (c) to define the powers and authorities of the said Board with relation to certain funds of the said Associated Churches of Christ now or hereafter vested in the said Board; (d) to validate the transfer or conveyance to the said Board of all properties hitherto transferred or conveyed to the same.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Standing Orders of the General Assembly of New Zealand relating to Private Bills, that application will be made to the General Assembly in Parliament assembled at its next session on behalf of the religious body known as “the Associated Churches of Christ in New Zealand” for leave to introduce a Private Bill to be called “The Associated Churches of Christ Church Property Bill, 1929.”

The objects of the said proposed Bill are as above set forth.

A copy of the proposed Bill will be deposited at the Examiner’s Office, Wellington, on the 1st day of May, 1929.
