Declaring the Approach Road to Silverhope Railway-station, in
the Rangitikei County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of
February, 1929.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers
and authorities in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and declare that the approach road to Silverhope Railway-
station on the North Island Main Trunk Railway, situated
in the Rangitikei County, and described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 acres 0 roods
9·9 perches.
Part of Railway Reserve (part Section 9, Hapopo Block),
Block IX, Ongo Survey District, Rangitikei County.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 38, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

Declaring Roads in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, to
be under the Control and Management of the Lower Hutt
Borough Council.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of
February, 1929.

COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
roads and portion of road described in the Schedule hereto
shall, on and after the date of this order in Council, be under
the control and management of the Lower Hutt Borough
Council.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those roads in the Wellington Land District, Borough of
Lower Hutt, known as Hawkins Street, Rodney Street,
Grenville Street, Guthrie Avenue, Vincent Street, Trafalgar
Street, and Brook Street; also all that portion of Bell Road
from the termination of Miller Street to the junction of Bell
Road and Riverside Drive. All situated in Block XIV,
Belmont Survey District. As the same are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73051, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured blue.

Directing Sale of Railway Land, at Palmerston North, under
the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of
February, 1929.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works
Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it
is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, pur-
chased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act
or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any
public work is not required for such public work the Governor-
General may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and
gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the condition set
forth in the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District, con-
taining an area of 2 acres, more or less, being portion of
Railway Reserve on the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway
(formerly Section 148, Town of Palmerston North), Borough
of Palmerston North, and being part of the land set forth in
certificate of title, Vol. 56, folio 196, in the office of the Dis-
trict Land Registrar at Wellington.

Amending the New Zealand Government Stores Control Board
Regulations.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of
February, 1929.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred on him by section three of the Public Revenues
Act, 1926, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby amend the New Zealand Government Stores
Control Board Regulations, 1925, made by Order in Council
on the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-five, and published in the Gazette of the
following day at page 3042, and doth direct that the amend-
ments hereby made shall form part of and be read with the
aforesaid regulations, and shall come into force on the date
of publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
- CLAUSE 12 of the regulations is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following :—
(d) Chief Inspector of the Treasury Department. - Clause 13 of the regulations is hereby amended by
deleting from the last paragraph thereof the word “two”
and substituting therefor the word “three.”

1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

William Bede Daly,
Andrew Tweedie,
Athol Wilkinson, and
Arthur Williamson
to be the Port Robinson Domain Board, having control of
