to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan by
way of bank overdraft up to the amount of three thousand
six hundred pounds for a term of two years, at such rate or
rates of interest as shall not produce to the lender a rate
exceeding current bank overdraft rates, subject to the condition
that the local authority shall repay the said sum out of
revenue or out of the proceeds of the conversion loan to
be raised for that purpose.

of Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the
Crown.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
December, 1928.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of
the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any
Order in Council made under that section may at any time
be varied or revoked :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion doth hereby revoke the Order in Council
referred to in Part I of the Schedule hereto, but only in so far
as it affects the Native land mentioned in Part II of the said
Schedule.

PART I.
ORDER IN COUNCIL under section 363 of the Native Land
Act, 1909, dated the 10th day of May, 1928, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette of the 24th day of May, 1928,

and other blocks.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby resolve and declare that the provisions
of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works
Act, 1908, shall not apply to the roads described in the
Schedule hereto.

The Northern Side of Portion of Thames Street, in the City
of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117
of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as
to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
December, 1928.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Wellington City Council on the fifteenth day
of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight,
viz. :
"The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908,
shall not apply to that part of the northern side of Thames
Street, fronting Lot 187, D.P. 816, being part Section 6,
Town Registration District, Block X, Port Nicholson
Survey District";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern
side of the portion of Thames Street (described in the Schedule
hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-
line of the said portion of street.
