Authorizing the Grey County Council to sell Timber upon Portions of certain County Roads in the Grey County.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by section one hundred and twenty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Grey County Council to sell or contract to sell and remove timber upon portions of certain county roads in Blocks X and XI, Hohonu Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73573, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 30th day of November, 1928.

STAFF.

Colonel R. Tracy-Inglis, O.B.E., V.D., M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, is granted an extension of one year in the period of his appointment as Director of Medical Services, with effect from 1st December, 1928.

THE AUCKLAND MOUNTED RIFLES.

Lieutenant E. M. Henry is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 4. Dated 23rd November, 1928.

THE NELSON-MARLBOROUGH MOUNTED RIFLES.

Captain F. H. P. Rogers is attached to the Waikato Regiment, and posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 23rd November, 1928.

2nd Lieutenant O. C. Freeth is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 9. Dated 19th November, 1928.

THE NORTH AUCKLAND MOUNTED RIFLES.

The seniority of Captain H. G. Carruth is antedated to 7th April, 1924.
