Notice making and levying Rates under the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915.

ALEXANDER DONALD MCLEOD, Minister of Lands,
in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the
Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, do hereby make and levy a special
rate to meet interest and sinking fund on capital upon the
unimproved value of all lands in the Waihi Drainage Area
liable to be rated in pursuance of that Act on a graduated
scale, as specified in the Schedule hereto, according to the
classification of the land.
The said rates will be payable in one sum on the 16th
February, 1928, to the Collector of Rates at the Chief Drainage
Engineer's Office, 5 Law Court Buildings, High Street, Auckland,
at which office the rate-book will be open for inspection.

SCHEDULE.
PUKEHINA SUBDIVISION.
Class A : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class A by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
sixpence (6d.) in the pound.
Class D : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class D by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
fifteen one-hundredths of a penny (15/100ths d.) in the
pound.

KAIKOKOPU SUBDIVISION.
Class A : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class A by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
threepence and forty-two one-hundredths of a penny (3d.
and 42/100ths d.) in the pound.
Class B : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class B by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
one penny and seventy-one one-hundredths of a penny
(1d. and 71/100ths d.) in the pound.
Class C : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class C by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
twenty-three one-hundredths of a penny (23/100ths d.) in
the pound.
Class D : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class D by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
nine one-hundredths of a penny (9/100ths d.) in the pound.

five pence and twenty-eight one-hundredths of a penny
(5d. and 28/100ths d.) in the pound.
Class C : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class C by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
one penny and thirty-two one-hundredths of a penny
(1d. and 32/100ths d.) in the pound.
Class D : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class D by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
sixty-six one-hundredths of a penny (66/100ths d.) in the
pound.

specified in the Schedule hereto, according to the classification of the land.
The said rates will be payable in one sum of the 16th
February, 1928, to the Collector of Rates at the Chief Drain-
age Engineer's Office, 5 Law Court Buildings, High Street,
Auckland, at which office the rate-book will be open for
inspection.

Class A : On the unimproved value of all lands classified
as Class A by the arbitrators appointed under the said
Act, twopence and ninety-six one-hundredths of a penny
(2d. and 96/100ths d.) in the pound.
Class B : On the unimproved value of all land classified
as Class B by the arbitrators appointed under the said
Act, one penny and forty-eight one-hundredths of a penny
(ld. and 48/100ths d.) in the pound.

Class D : On the unimproved value of all lands classified as
Class D by the arbitrators appointed under the said Act,
twenty one-hundredths of a penny (20/100ths d.) in the
pound.

The said rates will be payable in one sum on the 16th
February, 1928, to the Collector of Rates at the Chief

Street, Auckland, at which office the rate-book will be open

February, 1928, to the Collector of Rates at the Chief

Street, Auckland, at which office the rate-book will be open
