Motor-spirits (Tariff item 394 (7)) are defined as meaning—
(a) Any liquid fuel suitable for internal combustion engines of such a nature that when submitted to distillation in standard apparatus not less than 10 per cent. of the fuel shall distil over at a temperature of 160° C., or not less than 40 per cent. at a temperature of 180° C.
(b) Such mixtures of denatured ethyl alcohol with ethyl ether, benzol, or motor-spirit derived from petroleum, as the Minister may direct
