  1. RAILWAY AND TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENTS’ LINES.
    The licensee shall rectify to the satisfaction of the Minister
    of Railways or the Minister of Telegraphs, as the case may be,
    any interference or disturbance caused by the erection or
    operation of the licensee's system that affects the satisfactory
    working of telegraph lines which are the property of the Rail-
    way Department or the Telegraph Department, and which
    were erected prior to the licensee's lines.

  2. TIME FOR SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OF WORKS.
    The licensee shall substantially complete the works hereby
    authorized within a period of one year from the date of this
    license, or within such further time as the Minister may allow
    in the event of the work being delayed by strikes, lock-outs,
    breakdowns, or other unavoidable causes not due to any
    neglect by the licensee.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land
Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Monday, the third day of December, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-eight, as the time at which the lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said
lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule
hereto.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
Town of Murchison Extension No. 1.
Lot 2: Area, 1 acre. Upset price, £12.
Lot 3: Area, 1 acre. Upset price, £14.
Lot 4: Area, 1 acre. Upset price, £15.
Lot 5: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 10 perches. Upset price, £14.
Lot 6: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 28 perches. Upset price, £12.
Lot 7: Area, 1 acre 1 rood. Upset price, £10.

All sections are suitable for building-sites. Situated within
one mile of Murchison Post-office. Lots 2, 3, and 4 have
frontages to Essex Street, which is unformed. Lots 5, 6, and
7 have frontages to a formed road along the banks of the Buller
River, while Lot 8 has a frontage to the last-mentioned road
and to Chalgrave Street on the east.

Weighted with £5 5s., valuation for fencing; payable in
cash.
Section 14, Block, VIII : Area, 1 rood 14 perches. Upset
price, £25.
Weighted with £4, valuation for fencing; payable in cash.
Section 7 is situated at the corner of Tay and Awatea
Streets and Section 14 at the corner of Ayr and Awatea
Streets, about one mile from Ohakune Railway-station.
About one-fourth of each section is in bush and creek slopes,
with balance level. Improvements comprise 5½ chains of
fencing on Section 7, and 4 chains fencing on Section 14.

Raetihi Borough.—Town of Raetihi.
Section 113, Block X: Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £30.
Weighted with £3 7s. 6d., valuation for improvements ; pay-
able in cash on the fall of the hammer.
A level section, situated about 60 chains from the Raetihi
Railway-station. Light loam soil resting on clay formation;
about 3½ chains fencing.

SUBURBAN LAND.

Kaitieke County.—Town of Raurimu Extension.
Section 3, Block VIII : Area, 10 acres 0 roods 18 perches.
Upset price, £30.
Weighted with £60, valuation for improvements com-
prising felling, grassing, and fencing ; payable in cash on the
fall of the hammer.
The section fronts the Mamaku Road, and is situated about
one mile from Raurimu Railway-station. Undulating sunny
land, with 8 acres felled and grassed, and balance standing
bush. Medium quality soil on papa formation. Well watered.
About 45 chains fencing.

village. Fourteen miles from Bulls and twenty-seven miles
from Feilding. Store and post-office in village.

Kaitieke County.-Town of Owhango.
Sections 9, 11, and 13, Block VII : Area, 1 acre 3 roods
24 perches. Upset price, £56.
Weighted with £9 10s., valuation for improvements com-
prising felling, grassing, and fencing ; payable in cash on fall
of hammer.
These sections are situated on the right bank of the Kakahi
Stream, about one mile from the Owhango Railway-station.
All felled and grassed, and comprising mostly flat and plough-
able land. Suitable for grazing; 6½ chains fencing.

SUBURBAN LAND.

Raetihi Borough.—Makotuku Survey District.
Section 67, Block VI: Area, 8 acres 2 roods 38 perches.
Upset price, £250.
Weighted with £47 2s. 6d., valuation for improvements
comprising felling, grassing, and fencing ; payable in cash
on the fall of the hammer.
This section is situated in Raetihi, with a frontage to
Alexandra Road, and about one mile from the railway-station.
Easy and undulating, rising to tableland, with about half
ploughable when stumped. Section has been milled, burned,
and poorly grassed. Fair soil on papa formation. Elevation,
1,700 ft.
