Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of October, 1928.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of September, 1928.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and gazetted the twenty-first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, but only in so far as it affects the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto prohibiting all alienation, other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of the Waiwera-Kahika Road and Portion of an Unnamed Road in the County of Clutha exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1903, subject to a condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of October, 1928.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolutions passed by the Clutha County Council on the third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, respectively, the portions of roads affected by such resolutions being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:—

“The Clutha County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Clutha, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of road being part of Section one (1), Block ninety-nine (XCIX), and part of Section two (2), Block ninety-five (XCV), Clutha Survey District, which portion of road is that portion extending from the south-western corner of the said Section one (1) marked ‘A’ on the plan annexed hereto, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section two (2), marked ‘B’ on the said plan :

“The Clutha County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Clutha, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of road which forms the boundary between Section one (1), Block ninety-nine (XCIX), and Section two (2), Block ninety-five (XCV), Clutha District, which said portion of road is one thousand five hundred links (1500) in length, and is shown on P.W.D. 72819”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of the Waiwera-Kahika Road nor the portion of the unnamed road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-eastern side of all that portion of the Waiwera-Kahika Road and all that portion of an unnamed road situated in the Otago Land District, County of Clutha,
