Abolishing the Puketutu – Pio Pio – Aria Railway District, and dissolving the Board thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Local Railways Amendment Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the Puketutu – Pio Pio – Aria Railway District as constituted by a Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and do hereby declare the Puketutu – Pio Pio – Aria Railway Board elected by the ratepayers of the said district to be dissolved as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of October, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 33·7 perches.
Being portion of Part Allotment 51, Mangatawhiri Parish.

Situated in Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 24331.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69979, deposited in the Office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Situated in Block VII, Teviot Survey District.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72238, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power (Arapuni Scheme, Penrose Substation site), and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.
