NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between the executors of the estate of WALTER HILL (deceased), late of Christchurch, Woolbroker, CHRISTOPHER ATKINSON, of Christchurch, Merchant, and KENNETH SEYMOUR COX, of Ongaroto, Farmer, carrying on business as Farmers and Sawmillers at Ongaroto, in the Provincial District of Auckland, under the style or name of “ Hill, Atkinson, and Cox,” has been dissolved as from the 1st day of October, 1928.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between MARY ELIZABETH NORTHWOOD and MARGARET JANE LANGLEY, carrying on business at Kaitaia as Ladies’ Outfitters, under the style or firm name of “ M. Cammish and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 3rd day of September, 1928.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, 210 Victoria Arcade, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 29th day of August, 1928, the following resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on Thursday, the 20th day of September, 1928, the same resolution was duly confirmed as a special resolution.

“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”

And at such last-mentioned meeting ALAN CLELAND WILKIN, of Auckland, Solicitor, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on the 4th day of September, 1928, and duly confirmed at a special meeting called for that purpose on the 20th day of September, 1928, the following special resolution was passed:

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ALFRED ERNEST BYRNE, of Christchurch, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of sections 230 and 252 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the office of Messrs. Byrne and Co., T. and G. Buildings, 194 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Monday, the 15th day of October, 1928, at 4 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Petone Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Petone Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of a loan of £2,000 which matured on the 10th day of March, 1928, the said Petone Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-one two-hundred-and-fifty-sixths (21/256ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within that portion of the Borough of Petone known as the Eastern Special-rating Area, as defined in a resolution of the Petone Borough Council passed on the 14th day of December, 1914, upon the basis of the unimproved value of such property; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE N.Z. COAL TAR PRODUCTS, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at Wanganui on the 22nd day of August, 1928, the following resolution was passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 10th day of September, 1928, the following resolution was confirmed as a special resolution, viz:

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that THOMAS BALLINGALL, of Wanganui, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator.”

NOTICE is hereby given that, owing to the fact that a New Zealand company is to be formed for the purpose of carrying on the New Zealand business, THE KAG MANUFACTURING COMPANY PROPRIETARY, LIMITED, intends to cease voluntarily to carry on business in the Dominion of New Zealand after the expiration of three months from the first publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
