satisfy himself that all is clear by looking to the rear of the outside of the car on the side on which passengers are boarding or alighting.

  1. (1) When trailer cars are attached to "one-man" cars the number of car-conductors for the trailer cars shall be as follows:β€”
    (a) Trains consisting of a "one-man" car and one trailer car: One car-conductor.
    (b) Trains consisting of a "one-man" car and two trailer cars: Two car-conductors.
    (2) No more than two trailer cars shall be used in connection to any single "one-man" car.

(Use of trailers attached to "one-man" cars.)

  1. Before running "one-man" cars on the tramways such cars shall be in accordance with the deposited plans.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waikato County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
