Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 590 acres, more or less, and being Reserve No. 4222, situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Maling Survey District, and being the area known as Lake Tennyson: Bounded on all sides except at the inlet and outlet of the Clarence River by a road reserve 1 chain wide: As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/535, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 165 acres, more or less, and being Reserve No. 4223, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Maling Survey District, and being the area known as Lake Guyon: Bounded towards the north-east by Section 11, Square 183, Amuri, and a road reserve 1 chain wide, and on all other sides except at the outlet by a road reserve 1 chain wide: As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/535A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of September, 1928.

Crown Land set apart for the Purposes of a State Forest in Block XIII, Culverden Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of a State forest; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 3 acres 1 rood, being Crown land (closed road).
Situated in Block XIII, Culverden Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73000, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of September, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 1 acre 1 rood 34 perches.
Being Sections 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 (Crown land).
Situated in Block XVIII, Town of Ohura.
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71321, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of September, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Otamatea Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
