ERRATA.—In the Warrant and advertisement opening lands in Southland Land District, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 62, of 9th August, 1928, pages 2431 and 2451, for “Clifton” Township read “Clifden” Township.

In the Warrant notifying lands in Gisborne Land District for sale by public auction, and published in Gazette No. 62, of the 9th August, 1928, page 2431, in the area of Section 19, Town of Hicks Bay, for “1·02 perches” read “1 rood 2 perches.”

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Auckland–Westfield Deviation to take further land at Sylvia Park, in addition to land previously required for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-approach thereto and road-diversions in connection therewith :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
