Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of river-conservation works generally and river works, and shall vest in the Waimakariri River Trust as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Patetere North Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of a Horse-paddock in Block XII, Maungaharuru Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 51 of the thirty-first day of the same month, taking land for the purposes of a horse-paddock in Block XII, Maungaharuru Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.
