Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
ORAHIRI No. 1, Section 4, comprising part Section 2, Block III, Otorohanga Native Township: Approximate area, 20·5 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of July, 1928.

Notice withdrawing Land from a Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight (c) of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, withdraw from the Otago Mining District those areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those areas of land in the Southland Land District containing together by admeasurement 1,314 acres 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being Sections 64, 65, 66, Block VII, and Sections 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, Block X, Oteramika Hundred: As the said sections are delineated on the plan marked Mines N. 6/4/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Mines, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of July, 1928.

Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Belmont Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
