commencing at its junction with the Christchurch-Dunedin
Main Highway at Arundel at the north-eastern corner of
Section 32091, Block VI, Orari Survey District, and proceed-ing generally in a northerly direction via Peel Forest Road,
and terminating at the south-eastern corner of rural Section 18281, Block II, Orari Survey District, being a distance

commencing at its junction with the Dunedin-Christchurch

Blueskin Survey District, and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction via Seacliff, and terminating at its junction
with the Dunedin-Christchurch Main Highway in Section 48,
Block 4, Waikouaiti Survey District, being a distance of

Skipper's Road.
All that road or portion of road in the Lake County, com-mencing at its junction with the Timaru-Queenstown, via
Lindis Pass Main Highway, at a point on the eastern boundary
of Section 42, Block 19, Shotover Survey District, and pro-ceeding generally in a northerly direction via Skipper's Road,
and terminating at a point where it crosses Skipper's Creek in
Block 11, Skipper's Creek Survey District, being a distance

terminating at its junction with the McNab-Edievale Main
Highway near Pomahaka at the north-western corner of
Section 1, Block 11, Glenkenich Survey District, being a

Owaka-Purekireki.
All that road or portion of road in the Clutha County,
commencing at its junction with the Balclutha-Owaka Main
Highway in the Owaka Township, and proceeding generally

Survey District, being a distance of 12 miles 60 chains, more

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section twenty of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1926, it is provided that if in the
opinion of the Governor-General it is expedient that any land
vested in His Majesty and not reserved for any special purpose
should be vested in any local authority in trust for the purpose
of planting trees thereon, he may, by Order in Council, vest
such land in that local authority for such purpose, with or
without payment therefor, and subject to such terms and con-ditions as may be prescribed or imposed in such Order:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is
expedient to vest the land described in the Schedule hereto
in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County
of Wairoa for tree-planting purposes without payment there-for:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon
him by the said section twenty, doth hereby declare that
